USFWS has published the final rule regarding the redesignation of Critical Habitat for the wintering population of the Piping Plover.  The federal register document includes not only the designation but, also USFWS's response to comments submitted during the comment period.  Links to the record of final rule and the comments submitted are provided below.  OBPA is consulting with their attorneys regarding whether or not USFWS has complied with the court decision rendered in their previous law suit and anticipates challenging the redesignation.  Please see OBPA for updates and to make contributions to help fight this critical habitat designation.
